Cards in Animation Throwdown can be upgraded for stronger stats and skills! All card upgrades are performed in the 'Deck' island.
Navigate to the 'Deck' menu on the home screen and select a card to upgrade.
Use the left and right arrows ( 
) to preview the card's upgraded stats. The cost to upgrade a card is based only on the card's rarity and level.
Click the Upgrade button to upgrade a card using Giggitywatts or Coins.
FUSION
Cards can be fused up to two times to make them even stronger. Mythic cards cannot be fused since players cannot have more than a single copy of any given Mythic card. (Mythics will still update the frame of the card as it is leveled up and may look similar to a fused card.)
To fuse cards, you must have two (2) fully upgraded versions of the same card. Navigate to the 'Deck' menu on your home screen. Select a card that you want to fuse. Click the green 'Fuse Cards' button and your two fully upgraded cards will be fused into a single, stronger card that can be even further upgraded for strength.
Fusing a card will upgrade the frame of the card, so you can quickly see which cards have or have not been fused.
In the chart below, note how the frame of the card gets a new tab at the top; indicating the fusion level.
