Items and Currencies

Animation Throwdown has a variety of useful items and currencies. 

Items can be accessed from the main menu by clicking the Toolbox icon (). In this menu, you will be able to see items you have collected, earned, and/or purchased as well as a description of those items or what they do.

If you run out of an item, it will not be displayed in your inventory until you acquire that item again (it will not show you the item with a 0 quantity). 

For example: if you have 2,000 Golden Turds and spent it all on two Golden Turd packs, you will not see the Golden Turd icon in your inventory after the purchase.

GLOSSARY OF ITEMS

CONSUMABLES
	AD CRATE - Watch an ad to open this crate filled with goodies! Ad crates have a chance to drop after any battle. Watching an ad is required to open it. If you have a VIP pass, you do not need to watch an ad. More details Cap: 5
	ARENA REFILL - Instantly adds Arena Energy. The amount is indicated in the item description and on the image.
	ENERGY REFILL - Refills Adventure Energy. The amount is indicated in the item description and on the image.
	HERO TOKENS - Used to level up a hero. Earned in various areas of the game. More details
	MASTERY TOKEN - Used to perform Combo Mastery upgrades on your combos. Obtained as various Special Event and Quest rewards, or in the Shop.
	RESEARCH SPEEDUP +1 - Instantly finishes 1 hour of combo Research.
	RESEARCH SPEEDUP +8 - Instantly finishes 8 hours of combo Research.
	RESEARCH SPEEDUP +24 - Instantly finishes 24 hours of combo Research.
CURRENCY
	CHALLENGE COINS - Used to purchase rewards in the Challenge Shop using these Coins. Earned from Challenge battles. Cap: 30,000
	GEMS - Used to get make purchases, get cards, pull from boxes, and as an option for various actions such as refilling energy or speeding up research. Gems can be purchased for real currency or can be earned by using the Offerwall.
	GIGGITYWATTS - Giggitywatts (GW) are used to upgrade cards. Earn GW by recycling unwanted cards or various rewards, quests, and shop offers. Cap: 12,000 The cap can be expanded further with a Watt expander (see below).
	GOLDEN TURDS - Used to open 'The Golden Pack' in the Shop. Earned in the Onyx stages of Adventure and as various rewards for events. Also earned in place of Hero Tokens if you get tokens for a hero that is already at maximum level. Note: Players under Level 3 cannot obtain or spend Golden Turds.
	MASTERY STONE - Used in the Store to purchase Combo Mastery Tokens. Obtained as various Special Event and Quest rewards.
	NIXON COINS - Commonly referred to as simply 'COINS' or 'NIXONS'. Used to create a Guild, buy card packs, and perform card upgrades. They can be earned in Arena and various events. Cap: 500,000
PACKS
	BASIC PACK - Gives one card. Purchased with Coins in the Shop (1,000 Nixons per Pack). Click here to view Drop Rates.
	(RARE) BASIC PACK - Gives a guaranteed Rare or higher Card and 10 Watts. Purchased with Coins in the Shop (5,000 Nixons per Pack). Click here to view Drop Rates.
	(EPIC) BASIC PACK - Gives a guaranteed Epic or higher Card and 150 Watts. Purchased with Coins in the Shop (50,000 Nixons per Pack). Click here to view Drop Rates.
	(COMMON) CARD PACK - Gives three cards with one guaranteed Common or higher. Found in Quests.
	(RARE) CARD PACK - Gives two cards with one guaranteed Rare or higher. Found in Quests and purchased with Gems in the Shop (50 Gems).
	(RARE) ARCHER CARD PACK - Gives one random Archer card guaranteed Rare or Higher. Purchased with Gems in the Shop (100 Gems).
	(EPIC) CARD PACK - Gives three cards with one guaranteed Epic or higher. Found in some early Quests. Mostly retired.
	(SUPER EPIC) CARD PACK - Gives three cards with one guaranteed Epic or higher. Includes every non-mythic input card in the game. Each pack can grant extra legendary and mythic stones. This includes a small chance of a 1000 Mythic Stones jackpot. Purchased with Gems in the Shop (250 Gems).
	(LEGENDARY) CARD PACK - Gives one guaranteed Legendary card.  Found in Quests.
PURCHASABLE
	ADVENTURE ENERGY UPGRADE - increases the max Adventure Energy cap by 25.
	CARD INVENTORY UPGRADE - Increases the Card Inventory cap by 50. Item automatically extends cap when purchased. Not intended to expand deck capacity.
	MEGA QUEST SEASON PASS - Activates the premium rewards track for the Mega Quest, providing additional rewards along with those gained from the free rewards track. For more info please see our Mega Quest Season Pass article. Only available in the Shop.
	RESEARCH ACCELERATOR - The Research Accelerator reduces the time it takes to research a card combo, relative to its maximum timer. Accelerators that are just purchased will start accelerating research on the next card placed into a research tube. Players who already have a Research Accelerator will not see the Shop option to purchase another. Players who installed Animation Throwdown on or before Monday, October 24, 2016 were gifted this item at install.
	VIP PASS - Activates all bonuses corresponding to a player's VIP Rank. A player's VIP Rank is determined by the number of VIP Points they have accumulated. For more info please see our VIP System article.Only available in the Shop. Lasts 30 days.
	WATT CONVERTER - Used to eliminate extra Giggitywatts, can be found in the Items tab of the Shop. Spend 1,000 Watts and get 50 Legendary stones + a Random epic or Legendary card.
	WATT EXPANDER - Permanently expands the Giggitywatts cap from 12,000 to 27,000.Automatically gifted to a player after making their first purchase of at least $1.
STONES
	CHARACTER STONE - Combine 1,000 Character Stones together to get a random Legendary Character card.
	POWER STONE - Combine 1,000 Power Stones together to get a random event Epic Power card.
	GREATER EPIC STONE - Combine 1,000 Greater Epic Stones together to get a random Epic card. There is a chance to get a Legendary card instead.  Click here to view Drop Rates.
	SUPER LEGENDARY STONE - Combine 1000 Super Legendary Stones together to get a random Legendary card. Using this item will give you a choice between 3 random Legendary cards. Can be obtained through various rewards and from recycling an Epic or Legendary.
	LEGENDARY POWER STONE - Combine 1,000 Legendary Power Stones to get a random event Legendary Power Card.
	ELITE STONE - Combine 1,000 Elite Stones to get a choice between three random single Legendary Objects, at max quad CP Range of 101-105.
	SUPER MYTHIC STONE - Combine 1000 of them to create 250 Fragments for a random Mythic Card. The player is given 3 choices to pick from, the choices can be ANY Mythic Character in the game. Super Mythic Stones are also available in limited special events and the shop.
	MYTHIC OBJECT STONE - Combine 1000 Mythic Object Stones to create 250 Fragments for a Mythic Object card. The player will be given 3 options to choose from before receiving their fragments. Mythic Object stones are gained through limited events and shop offers.
	QUAD EPIC STONE - Combine 1,000 Quad Epic Stones together to get an unleveled quad version of a random card from the Greater Epic Stone pool.
RETIRED / LIMITED
	LEGENDARY STONE - Combine 1,000 Legendary Stones together to get a random Legendary card! Can be obtained through various rewards and from recycling an Epic or Legendary.
	MYTHIC STONE - Combine 1000 of them to create 250 Mythic Fragments for a random Mythic card.  Mythic stones are gained through events and there is a chance to receive them from recycling Legendary cards.
	FOUNDERS PACK - Contains 1000 Gold, a Rare pack, an Energy Refill, an Arena Refill. Given out on October 19, 2016.
	GIGGITYWATT AMPLIFIER - Provides 100 Giggitywatts per Day. Expires after 7 days.
	GOOGLE PLAY BADGE - "Thank you for playing the game on Google Play!" Collectible.
	LEGENDARY FRAGMENT - Combine 500 fragments together to get a random Legendary from the Box/Pack. These have been retired from the game and can no longer be collected.
	PUMPKIN PACK - Contains 5000 Gold and a Dress Rehearsal card. Given out on November 2, 2016.
NO IMAGE	VALENTINE'S PACK - Contains Flirty Tutor card, 5000 Gold, and 50 gems! Given out on February 9, 2017.
