The character you selected at the beginning of the game is your starting Hero. By playing and leveling up your account, you'll unlock access to additional heroes. You can only use one at a time, but each hero has a combination of skills that will help your cards in unique ways. Play around with different heroes and decks to see what works best for you!
HERO STATS
To view your hero's information, first tap or click on the hero portrait next to your player name. This will pull up your player profile.
Tap or click the hero portrait again to view the hero details.
The hero detail screen shows you a lot of information:
- Token/XP Bar - At the bottom left, you'll see how many tokens (see below) are required to level your hero up to the next level
- Hero Level - Above the hero name is the current level of the hero.
- Stats - Use the left and right arrows (
) to see what is upgraded as the hero levels up
- Max Health of the hero is how much damage you can take before the match is lost (damage to the hero, not your cards-- cards have their own health value).
- Skills - These are the skills the hero will use in battle
- Defense Card - Click or tap the shield icon (
) to view details about this hero's defense card.
- Show Logo - The logo of the show this character is from.
SWITCHING HEROES
Scroll through the window of characters to pick something new.
Simply tap on the hero portrait to 'equip' that hero. Exit this menu to save your selection.
UNLOCKING HEROES
Most heroes can be unlocked by leveling up your Arena rank.
For a few other heroes, they are unlocked by collecting tokens for that hero from Hero Token Crates, Event Rewards or Shop offers.
See table below for a full list of Hero Tokens and where they can be found.
LEVELING UP (UPGRADING) HEROES
Make your heroes stronger by leveling them up!
To level up your heroes, you must collect Hero Tokens.
Hero Tokens have a chance to drop from Arena matches or can be found as Special Event rewards and in the Shop. Hero Tokens can also be collected by purchasing them from the Challenge store with Wonder Wharf Coins ( ) earned in Challenges.
Hero Tokens dropped from Arena are not a guaranteed drop and can vary in quantity and Hero type.
Before starting a battle, the screen will show you which Hero Token may drop as a reward. In the example Arena match, the player has the chance to get Roger tokens after each fight.
To help you collect tokens of your choosing, the Hero Token chance will not change after each battle. If you want to earn different tokens, use the refresh opponent () button. Both the Hero Token chance and opponent will change.
Once you have collected enough tokens, your Hero will level up automatically. The number of tokens required increases with each level.

WHAT IF I GET TOKENS FOR A MAXIMUM LEVEL HERO?
Arena Battle Rewards: If you get a Hero Token for a hero who is already at maximum level, the Hero Token will automatically convert into 4 Golden Turds ( ).
Hero Token Crates from the Challenges shop: You will not get tokens for a hero you already have at maximum level, making it easier for you to level up your other heroes.
