Special Boss Mechanics

Some bosses will have a special mechanic, allowing them to play the game in ways you cannot! Here, Slurms McKenzie plays 2 cards before you even get a turn! Can you keep up with the pressure?

FAQ

:plusbutton: Where can I find these bosses?

  • Bosses have their own islands in the Classic Campaign, on the Adventure Islands. Progress past the Chapter 2 Island to find your first boss, Jimmy Pesto!

:plusbutton: Can I battle a boss more than once?

  • Yes! progress through Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Onyx difficulties with just one battle! After that, continue to play Onyx battles as much as you'd like.

:plusbutton: Do all of the bosses have a special boss mechanic?

  • No. Slurms and Ernie are the only bosses with a special mechanic...so far...

:plusbutton: Are the bosses only available for a limited time?

  • No, the bosses will stay!

:plusbutton: Where did the missing buttons go?

  • The fast-forward and speed controls can be found by clicking on the settings.png settings button at the top right.
