Hello Everyone,
There are some exciting additions and changes coming to Throwdown! Check out the details below and share your feedback on the Kongregate forums.
Epic Stone Follow-Up
A recent server push added the previously announced Greater Epic Stones, which now drop instead of Epic Stones. Because Epic Stones can no longer be obtained, some players will have up to 999 leftover stones with no way to complete the 1,000 needed to pull a card. We plan to address this by rounding all players up to the nearest thousand.
Examples:
Player A has 750 Epic Stones - this player will receive 250 Epic Stones.
Player B has 11,000 Epic Stones - this player will not receive Epic Stones.
We aim to make this adjustment in the next week or two.
Card Upgrades for Nixon Coins
Soon you will be able to upgrade your cards using Nixon Coins in place of Giggity Watts. It will cost 500 Coins for each Watt that would be used. The option to upgrade using Watts will still be available, of course, but we are excited to see how this change helps our players improve their decks!
This feature is still in its early stages of development, but we hope to have it live in an app update later this month.
Instant Battles
With all the content that’s come to Throwdown over the past two years, we’ve seen that players want the ability to automatically play through content that may feel tedious or quite easy for their level but still provide a useful reward.
We plan to add “Instant Battles” to Adventure mode, allowing players skip playing and get the rewards instantly. Arena may be included in this update, but our initial plans for Instant Battles do not include Guild Events and Challenges.
This feature is in very early stages of planning and there is not currently an expected timeframe for implementation. However, we wanted to share this with you all to gather any feedback or questions.
Thank you for reading and for supporting Animation Throwdown. If you'd like to share your feedback, please join the discussion on the Kongregate forums.
