Please provide the following when reporting a gameplay issue:

  • User Name or Player ID Number
  • Device/Platform
  • Operating System
  • Description of the problem.
  • Screenshots/Video (if applicable/available)

MOBILE TROUBLESHOOTING

If you’re having trouble loading/downloading Animation Throwdown on your mobile device, here are a few points to consider:

  • Make sure your device is up to date with the latest OS version. 
    Animation Throwdown is optimized to run with the latest OS versions. Apple devices require at least iOS 7.1, and Android devices require at least Android 5.0 and up.
  • If you are using an older device, make sure your device supports the latest OS versions. 
  • If you are still having trouble after updating, you may be short of internal RAM or storage. Some older devices can have problems running new operating systems.
  • If your game isn't loading, try closing down the app completely and restarting your device.
  • If you are having trouble downloading the game or an update, make sure you have a solid connection to the internet; WIFI is generally recommended when installing/updating the app.

If you continue to have trouble loading/downloading Animation Throwdown, check known/reported issues & bugs to see if this is something currently being worked on.

If not, please contact support with the following information:

  • Your current device and operating system version specs (please be specific).

  • Your current game version number of Animation Throwdown (can be found in the game settings/options or in your Google Play/App Store).

  • When you first started having issues loading the app/what version number you are trying to download/install/run.

  • Your Kongregate name and or your in game name.

KONGREGATE.COM TROUBLESHOOTING

 If you’re having trouble loading the Web version of Animation Throwdown:

  • Check you browser plug-ins. Most Web games require Flash. Check if Flash is enabled on your Chrome or Firefox browser.

  •  Disable any ad-blocking software.

  • If loading issues persist after trying the above consider disabling all plug-ins and extensions.

STEAM TROUBLESHOOTING

 If you cannot launch the Steam version of Animation Throwdown check the following:

  • Make sure your computer meets the system requirements (see store page) 
    You can check your hardware configuration within Steam from the top left corner of the client window. Select Help > System Information. The most relevant information will be the OS version, processor, graphics, and available storage space.

  • Check for updates to your Windows or Mac OS.

  • Verify the game cache files.
    From your Library tab find Animation Throwdown and right-click on the game. Select Properties > tab to Local Files > select Verify Integrity of Game Files. Allow a few minutes for Steam to check the files.

  • Check for driver updates to your system hardware (Windows only)

  • Remove or disable software which could interfere with Steam (complete list here)
