We are thrilled to announce a major overhaul and seasonal-based revamp of SFC, now known as AT League! This exciting update brings significant changes to the ranking system and introduces a new structure that will enhance your gameplay experience.
First and foremost, let's dive into the new rank milestones for AT League. We have introduced seven rank milestones, each representing a different level of skill and achievement.
The rank milestones for AT League are as follows:
These rank milestones should help provide a clear progression path for you to strive towards.
In an effort to keep Arena fresh and dynamic, AT League seasons will now run alongside BGEs (Battleground Effects) and reset at the start of a new BGE. This means that you will have the opportunity to climb the ranks and earn rewards within a specific BGE.
Starting ranks in each season, will use the score you earned in the previous season along with some point decay. This ensures that your starting position reflects your performance in the previous season but everyone still needs to remain active from season to season.
Rewards are given out for each rank milestone you reach during an AT League season. This includes lower rank milestones that you may have already surpassed at the start of the season. With rewards that improve with each subsequent rank milestone our hope is this will help incentivize everyone to push their limits and achieve higher ranks.
A few important changes we wish to highlight: Once you have reached a new rank milestone in an AT League season, you cannot drop below the minimum number of points required for that rank milestone until the next reset. This means that your hard-earned progress will be protected, and you can focus on further improving your skills.
Furthermore, we are pleased to inform you that once you reach AT League, you will not be able to fall out of it. Unlike the old SFC mechanic where losing three times at 0 points would result in demotion, AT League provides a more stable and rewarding experience for our dedicated players.
With these exciting changes in mind, we will be retiring Brawls, as AT League now takes center stage in Arena. We believe that this revamped structure will bring a fresh and engaging experience to all players.
